In these uncertain financial times, I was nearly floored when I received a credit offer from Washington Mutual for up to $30,000! I don't have the best credit in the world, so it's crazy to think that I would be on a list for anything like that especially with the way the economy is going. Kind of makes you think, the banks may not really be learning from their mistakes!

No wonder we are in a mess!
In these uncertain financial times, I was nearly floored when I received a credit offer from Washington Mutual for up to $30,000! No kidding!! When I was buying my place last summer, they tried to tell me I could afford something ridiculous, like a $500k home. They sent me the payment information, and it was pretty clear that the mortgage payment was higher than the money I was paid every month. Brokers are skeezy!! And credit card companies...don't even get me started.
