Over the weekend, Chris and I went to New York City for Max and Karen's wedding. What a beautiful affair! It was our first Jewish ceremony and it was very symbolic and touching. I've never seen Max so happy.
The reception was a great party! Nothing was too much from the great salmon and caviar hors d'oeuvres to the live band playing songs in three languages to the delicious churros and chocolate sauce. Around midnight, a samba percussion band came to rejuvenate the guests as they passed out mardi gras masks and beads. We partied until 12:30--stuffed with too much food and danced out---we said goodbye to the new couple who were still having a great time.
